Fantastic! This is a solid mounting arm. Feels well constructed and all metal parts are of a heavy gauge.I have a 17 inch Thinkpad P17 on it and it holds like a boss.Not the fault of the arm, but it's a bit hard to dial in the tension adjustment to properly support the weight and not fly up when I lift the laptop, but I think the weight of the laptop is the culprit. It should be easier to tune the tensioner with a lighter laptop.Also, the laptop plate mounts via standard VESA bolts, and it supports 75mm and 100mm mounts. So it can be converted to a monitor arm quite easily.My coworker saw it and now he wants one!

Nice and sturdy, holds my relatively heavy Framework Laptop 16 no problem. The mechanism to lock it in place works pretty well wrapped around its hinges. I expect based on its design that it should accommodate most laptops. Makes my laptop screen much more usable when docked and puts my fingerprint reader and webcam within reach. The mechanism to mount it to a desk or table is quite rigid and does not require any drilling if you have a decent lip. The arm is plenty long and the height and angle can be adjusted just about any way you like.

Just installed this laptop stand. Nice product, well made, sturdy, all metal. Pretty easy assembly. Be sure to measure how high you want the stand to rise and check to be sure the stand has sufficient extension height for you. Mine was just enough but I did not think to anticipate this.

Once you get it adjusted and located it works good. It’s built very good and provides good assembly instructions. It doesn’t come with the necessary Allan wrenches to make tighten the arm counter weight mechanisms. Having a mechanical aptitude will help you with assembly and adjustment.

This stand is simply built like a tank. It is well engineered and the parts simply fit together very smoothly. The manufacturing is first rate and the arms are made of stamped metal, not cheap plastic. The fasteners are all also made of metal. One of the reasons why I bought this stand is because I needed something that would stay where I put it without sagging under weight even with a heavy laptop or in my case to support my heavy glass palette (about 12"x18") for oil painting and I love the fact that I can swing it and position it where I need it without fear that it is going to collapse. You can either clamp it to your desk with a heavy duty clamp or bolt it down. I chose the clamp option. I simply love this stand. This is so good that I bought a second one for a similar use. I know this is a bit pricey at almost $50 but I would rather spend the extra money and have peace of mind that this is going to do the job (and it does it brilliantly) and last a while. You can't go wrong with this stand!

I was sick of having my computer on my rather large coffee table. I have had two laptops ask me first thing in the morning for coffee, and, yes, I gave it to them...ugh.My first plan was to buy a 27 inch 4K UHD Monitor and keep my computer on my A/V stand. After wiring everything up, and first starting with the 27 inch HD TV which I returned for the 4K UHD version with speakers, for future considerations. Ha ha ha, after I hooked it all up, I had my wireless keyboard and mouse at the ready. I COULN'T READ THE SCREEN :( Returned everything. Was just perusing Amazon.ca and I saw this and it was love at first sight. After I read the reviews and the installation methods, I proposed to it. This is the most amazing gadget I have ever purchased. This $75 universally adjustable laptop holder has turned my man cave into a Maclaren. Don't even hesitate. I just bought it and figured how and where best to install it. Perfect cable management. Rarely do I have the pleasure of such a rewarding purchase under $100 !!! Oh, got it the next day after ordering it about 11:30 pm.

This product is well constructed and was easy to install, but the arm is too short for my large desk. No matter where I clamp it, the laptop is too far back from my desktop monitors and creates aesthetic imbalance. It would be prefect it the arm was 6” longer.

I have a set-up that includes a personal and work laptop and I was running out of space on my desk. I bought this and it's a total game changer. Its heavy duty and easy to adjust and gives me a great view of laptop. I would buy it again.
