I clean the chain first, very methodically, using simple green and different brushes. Simple green doesn’t seep past the o-rings so the internal grease stays good. Then, after a full wipe down I use this as a final rinse off from a bit of a distance away to help prevent it from pushing past the orings. It’s good to finish it off.

Melts off track dirt and grime so easily and keeps my chains looking new after a day on the track! Gas and Brake cleaner work well enough but when using this chain clean I can spray it right on without removing the chain and the debris literally melts off instantly, plus I feel better using this with the o-rings as gas and brake cleaner can really dry them out. Love this stuff.

This product works very well the downside is one can can last 3 chain clean or one time if your gonna degrease the back wheel also from the fling on lube.
