I ordered this desk with the plan of using it to update my library/office but my son asked to use it for his area so I lost it. That's ok because he has been using a very old particle board type desk that had definitely seen better days. For him and frankly anyone looking, I would say that this is a nice step up into a modern desk. its lightweight and easy to move around even as an "L" style desk. It holds his larger screen without any issues and has plenty of shelving on the other side for his extra controllers as well as some cool models he has on display - I asked him if I could take a couple of photos but he politely asked me not to put his gaming space online so not photos. Let me just say that it looks nice and would fit into pretty much any modern decor style. I did take one star off because its a bit smaller than I would have prefered and if I end up eventually using it in the library, I might need to rethink my layout. Assembly is very simple as long as you take your time and follow the instructions. If you are in need of a compact L desk this one might be a good option to consider.

Assembly was easy and I like that they include an extra bolt of each size. The desk looks good and is fairly light but still feels sturdy. The L section can be used on either side which is always nice. I love the included power strip. This really is a feature I have come to expect even on budget desks. You get a good looking desk that is quite friendly on the budget making this easy to recommend!

I just got finished assembling it this morning. Assembly was easy. Nothing was damaged. All of the parts were there, with one spare for each kind. It has a couple of unique features. It allows for right-or-left-hand positioning of the shelves. That means it easily fits into almost any space without feeling awkward. It also features a little platform under the desk to hold a gaming computer, but it works really well to hold my paper shredder [that's why I ordered this particular model]. It came with LED lighting that I did not need - I like my old desk lamp best. I do rather like having the convenience of a mini power outlet strip on the desk surface where it's unobtrusively out of the way, but ready to use when needed - no more stooping, no more bending, no more crawling on hands and knees, and no more head bumps trying to find the electrical outlet that's usually behind something too big and too heavy to move... Once it is all put together the reward is a stylish, good looking, lightweight, well braced, and very sturdy desk. Even the little fabric "in-box" that attaches to one side is full of surprises - it has the main large pocket, but other smaller pockets are concealed along the front of it.

I chose this desk because it was L-shaped. I am using it for my sewing machine. This size and shape gives me a place for my machine plus extra space for working on patterns. I put it together myself. It came with two wrenches so if you decide to have help, there's one for each of you. In my case, I kept dropping one and would have to use the other to finish what I was doing. It took about an hour for one person to put it together and it wasn't very difficult. It's very sturdy, looks nice, and functions very well for my needs. I only wish it had drawers, but the price was right. I can add drawers later. It also had some extra screws should you lose one somewhere along the way. It was missing the 3M stickers to attach the light. I stared at the box like it was an alien spaceship, tools in hand and zero backup, and thought I have got this, and I did. In about an hour and a half, I transformed my cramped corner into a cozy workstation. Assembly was weirdly enjoyable. The instructions were clear, not cryptic symbols from another dimension. They recommended having a helper, but they did not judge me for going solo. The desk itself is a sleek black surface with LED lights and built in power outlets plus USB ports. It feels like setting up a mini batcave with just the right amount of glow to make late night work sessions feel comfortable without feeling like a disco. It is sturdy too, no wobble even when I am hammering away at the keyboard in frustration. It fits perfectly in small spaces like a dorm, apartment, or that neglected office nook, and the storage shelves and headphone hook help keep things tidy. For the price, it is an absolute win. You get functionality, style, and extra features without having to shell out for a high end table. Would I buy it again? Yes. Am I typing this review at the desk right now? Also yes.

Our older son who is now in High School has been getting more into computers as he has gotten older. He really wants a desk top computer to build but needs a desk to put it on. He does not have much space in his room, so I have been on the look out for a compact desk that would fit in his small bedroom. When I stumbled across this one, I knew this would fit perfectly.The desk itself was very easy to put together. Took me about thirty minutes to have it up and ready for him to use. The return side can easily fit two small monitors while the front side has shelving and a lot of space for a printer and other tech items. Underneath there is a place for the desktop unit, so once he is ready the space is already there for him. This desk is also reversible, meaning the return side can go either way depending on the space where it needs to live. For us, this L-shaped desk worked perfectly for his current bedroom space and the frame feels solid. Very happy.
