Came across about 20 VHS-C tapes from family events dating back to the 1990's. Needed to review before deciding on which to digitize. Still had a Panasonic VHS player, but needed an adapter to play VHS-C. Many of those offered for sale came with bad reviews. This adapter was a little more expensive than the rest, but made specifically for Panasonic, and had good reviews. Device functioned perfectly and was able to view the VHS-C tapes. Highly recommend.

Perhaps I'm too young, but it took me a while to realize that the tape hatch won't open unless there's a battery inside. I was expecting something powered by springs instead. Served its purpose for the 20-ish tapes I had to digitize.
