What sets this USB adapter apart? It's a slide switch versus a "momentary on" push button. Why does this matter? When you get on your bike and fire it up, this port then energizes if the switch is slid to the on position, unlike others where you have to push the button to energize the port each time the bike is started.Pros- Always on when starting, small form factor, SAE plug, dust coverCons- NOT WATERPROOF OR RESISTANT, connector rings may not fit all batter posts, mine did not have a fuse but it's a common blade type fuse

Because this charger-adaptor has a standard SAE input connector, in can be used in countless places — cars, boats, trucks, RVs — anyplace you have a standard 12 volt SAE output. In addition to functioning as USB-A and USB-C charger, the adaptor has a voltmeter which also allows you monitor vehicle voltage or to use it as tester to quickly verify whether an SAE output is working.The description claims it is both a voltmeter and an ammeter, however it does not measure or display amperage. Nonetheless, the current Amazon listing price of $14 represents a reasonable value for this item.

Added this to my ATV - QUAD. My phone holder and this awesome charge tool hooked up directly to my battery. Excellent build quality with an inline fuse. Top Notch fast charger for my Pixel 7a (and other items)

This was a great addition to my Honda VTX 1300 as it had no way to access power from the bike and I always had to stop to charge or have an external battery pack. Super easy install and great little add on to my bike. Highly Recommend

This device is very handy to have for motorcycling. It can serve two purposes - one with all the parts as a charging station powered off the battery connection. It is especially useful with both USB-A and USB-C ports, as the market is mixed on these sizes now. Secondly, by detaching the charging piece, the SAE connector can be used with a battery trickle charger. Very nice multi-use solution.
