While many bikes are easy to strap down to a trailer, there are some which become truly difficult due to either full bodywork, accessories such as bags and windshields/fairings, or especially custom bikes which may have plenty of places to hook- but custom paint which could be damaged. These straps allow one to strap the bike without needing to attach to the frame where paint or simply physical access is a problem. I think it's important to mention that this handlebar strap is to be used as only one part of multiple attachment points required to safely secure a bike- including, but not limited to chocks and wheel straps, etc.I had to transport all my bikes to winter storage, so we employed this strap to be able to do this review. For a traditional open-frame "retro" style Triumph it was certainly quicker to use this strap, otherwise one needs to use smaller loops and THEN attach a strap. Classic cruisers and an adventure bike all were easier to manage with this strap vs. regular front straps. Where this strap became invaluable was with a PC800 which has complete fragile bodywork completely encasing the entire bike. It looks great, but nearly impossible to strap the front without multiple straps and some creative strapping. Using the handlebars is a stroke of genius. At this point, I'll also mention again that this is only one of multiple required methods for securing a bike- but it solved the problem of holding the bike vertical while wheel chocks and additional side straps limit other directions of movement. The strap assembly itself is decent- but I would prefer if it had been made a bit beefier, as that would add a degree of confidence. It offers a wide variety of adjustability for different bikes and it worked on all four of the vastly different bikes we tried- but the more straight the bars are, the better or one needs to anchor the strap more forward than usual.Summary- this is an extremely handy strap and method, even if one only uses it for helping hold the bike in place while attaching other straps in other locations. It appears adequately strong, but should never be relied upon solely for holding the bike in place during transport. For the price, I'm satisfied with the value and function. Satisfaction for me is three stars, with four and five granted for providing an exceptional value or exceptional quality and/or innovation. I'd recommend this, with the caveat to use it properly and carefully.

If you know what canyon dancers are, then you will know these are pretty much the exact same thing. The quality isn't as good, but they still function just as well. If you trailer your bike often, or even have plans of trailering your bike, I highly recommend straps like this. They go on the ends of your handlebar, and allow you to strap your bike down properly without worrying about damaging the bike itself. I use these every time I travel with the bike on the back of the truck or on a trailer. They're super easy to use and I highly recommend them or something similar if you're going to transport your bike.

These are very similar (one could say knock-offs) to the popular Canyon Dancer brand. And they work just fine, providing your handlebar setup is not too small or too wide. I'd guess this would work with 90% of motorcycles on the road today.Note that you will have to pair these with a set of wratchet straps as they won't hold your bike up on their own. Pictured is them holding a 2020 Suzuki Katana 1000 on my trailer. Some reviewers have expressed reservations about the strap's strength but that's not an issue since the straps feel very little force. The weight of the bike is straight down and these just help keep it centered. What little sideways force there is when you turn or bounce on down the road is nowhere near enough for straps like this to tear or give way. Ever. It's nice to have the 'cups' on the end of your handlebars versus tie-down loops or the metal buckle from a wratchet strap as nothing gets marred or scratched. The one downside I experienced is that they don't work on motorcycles with bar end mirrors. The pictured Katana had bar end mirrors but I removed them to test these. It's not something I'd want to do regularly.

My wife purchased a new Piaggio scooter and had it shipped to our house. When it arrived, the motorcycle transport company used one of these tie downs to secure the scooter in a trailer. In the past, I had always had difficulty figuring out how to tie down the scooter without breaking any plastic in the front. This product works perfectly by transferring all stress to the hand grips.

I saw most reviews said these were supper string and sturdy. Maybe I just got a bad pair but they feel like they’re ripping and honestly they were pretty difficult to use and they kept getting tangled. Anyways, the not feeling safe that they’re going to rip is a deal breaker from me. It makes me uncomfortable from using them.
