Been using this oiler for the last 3 years on my motorcycle riding RTW through Latin America Europe and now Asia. Great piece of kit after trial by fire living on the trail for the last little bit ποΈπ¨ππ€

This an excellent bit of kit. Iβve fitted this onto a Vstrom DL1050 to the left mirror post. I use the scotoiler oil with the unit.

Product was neatly packaged and arrived without a scratch. As others have mentioned, the instructions are very basic, but there are youtube videos to help, if needed. I wanted to mount the main unit on the handlebars, and on my Versys 1000 that didn't leave many choices. I had to fab a longer mount out of 1/8 x 1/2 bar stock in order to mount the unit near my left hand mirror. The swing arm mount was just a piece of double sided tape - it has worked for others but seemed iffy to me. I fabbed up a 3D printed swingarm holder that is a lot more durable. I'm hopeful this will make my chain oiling a little more routine and periodic!!!

Quality Product - the body, mounts, oil line and oil line fittings are great, I would say the only place where this one is under-par compared to the Cobra mfg one is the swing arm attachment for the oil line just seem a little less robust when compared to the Cobra mfg swing arm mount. That being said I would say everything else is just as good at a better price point. Some reported having oil leaks - I haven't had any problems with oil leaking. When I got the unit I removed the quick connect oil fitting on the bottom of the body along with the top cap and o-ring. Blew the body out with shop air just to remove any possible FOD that might be in the body. After which I lubed the O-rings and refitted the quick connect for the oil line. Standard practice from working on hydraulic systems in the past.I covered the oil line in expanding sleeve just to make it look a bit better and match the rest of the wiring I have on the bike. I didn't use the swing arm oil like mount and just fabricated one that worked the way I wanted it too.Wasn't sure if I wanted an auto or semi-auto oiler on the bike but after using it I'm defiantly sold on the idea and use. Not sure if I would put one on a super-sport but on a dual sport or commuter I think it fits. Chain maintenance isn't not hard but this just make the whole process a bit quicker and easier. Before I would have to clean the chain then re-lube it - the cleaning bit sucks - but with the oiler the chain stays cleaner and now I just simple wipe the chain down with a shop towel and then next time I ride I give the oiler a 1/4 turn and all is good. All in all its a nice product for the money and I would buy again.

I installed on my f650gs the storage is next the wheel.the fluid goes the chain perfectlybut the container does not keep the oil, when it gets full, it leaks all of oil without turning, sometimes sameday sometimes 1 or 2 days later.so it is not trustable. In first days I thought I made a mistake but nope. the system has problem, somewhere of it leaks.may be problem with red o-ring. where it should be installed ? it is not clear on manuel.

Works just as it should. Some of the reviews I read said the parts were not in tolerance and it would leak. One even said the oil ran right out of it. I have not seen any of this. The unit I received seems to be very well made and it was easy to install even though the directions are very typical for a product from China. (almost worthless) haha I would recommend this product to friends.

For the price, this is a fair unit. Installed on my KTM 1090R. Everything needed was included. I was not impressed with the aluminum supporting bar so I made a new one out of scrap flat bar 7075 I had laying around. My bike has a chain guard that made routing to a point on the chain easy. I did not have to use the provided mount. The aluminum reservoir is of pretty high quality surprisingly. Operation of the unit is alright. Excellent once threaded and working to deploy oil. I do get cross threading issues on refill. Meaning when I fill it, getting the threads started again to apply pressure to deliver oil is not easy. Takes a bit of finageling. I believe the others who reported it not working, were getting jammed threads starting delivery after a refill. This is very much worth the price. Just be careful getting it started after refill and your all set. The instructions were completely useless. Watch any YouTube video on the Nemo 2 on how to install.

It looks like a Nemo, but it is a piece of crap. I have a Nemo on my BMW S1000XR and it functions wonderfully. I went thru the installation and installed it on another bike. Filled it with oil and the thing leaked immediately. The outer part rocks on the inner mounted part. The thing must be a second. The tolerances are completely wrong. It looks like a great deal, and it would be if it worked like a Nemo. Save your money, don't buy this piece of junk. Buy the real thing, a Nemo.Update. I disassembled the unit by removing the c ring and unscrewing the inner and outer pieces. I found the oring in the unit to be way too soft and too thin. I found a harder durometer oring that was slightly thicker. Before I installed the new oring I wrapped the oring groove with about 6 wraps of teflon thread sealing tape. Then I installed the new oring. I also wrapped the threads with about four layers of the tape and reassembled the unit. The rocking between the inner and outer pieces is gone and it has been holding oil now for about 48 hours. I will install it back on the bike and see how it works.

Quality looking piece. Came with a couple of extra parts, presumably for a repair/rebuild at some point. Fast shipping. Looks great on the bike and works exactly as advertised. Install was very straightforward. Definitely recommend this if you're looking for what seems to be a reliable oiler, and one that is user controlled instead of the automatic ones that connect into some intake/electrical system. Great price as well.
