worked great in my 76 f150 with a 390. my old one kept showing it was loosing oil pressure while going 45 and up. i was suspecting a engine rebuild but thankfully it was just the sensor.

I expected this unit to be just ON when there was oil pressure and OFF when there was none. It was not the case. The device worked but I had to bypass a resistor on the back of the instrument panel for the oil pressure gauge on the 1995 Ford F150 for the oil pressure to read out. The needle moves with pressure increasing and decreasing as the motor is revved. This works but it is not just a "switch."

Rebuilt an a 351C for a 1970 mustang and installed an aftermarket sending unit. Had low oil pressure so I replaced it with this one. Oil pressure went to normal. This is the correct sending unit for a good price!

I, like many here received a unit that barely lasted a year. Great price, shipped quickly, but you will get what you pay for in the end. (Meaning: spend the coin to get a better unit)
