This is a quality product. However this is not the correct gasket for a 2003 Ford Ranger 3.0L flex truck. I'm not sure if you can make it work or not, but its not the correct gasket. The correct gasket for that model is a double O-ring rubber type gasket.

The new paper gaskets from almost all the brands are now so thin you have to use multiple gaskets to get the same thickness as older versions (when things were made better!) We all know where and why the new things are being manufactured so flimsy... and 5 bucks for 3 paper gaskets is pretty high... especially when the part they fit used to come with a new gasket... are we really saving money now??

This is the CORRECT gasket for the Motorcraft Idle Air Control Motor (it's a valve!) #CX1660.Tip: Apply a film of Loctite Spray Adhesive to the rough side of the gasket, and press it firmly onto the IAC valve in the exact position. Let the glue dry for 10-15 minutes before installing the valve onto the engine. Gluing the gasket in place saves A LOT of time and hassle !! Good Luck !!

I bought this gasked to install a new idle air control valve on a Lincoln Town Car. It is a simple gasket, and worked fine. I would note that this Motorcraft part number is for a plastic bag of four identical gaskets. The Amazon item sold under this Motorcraft part number that I received is only one gasked. It's all I needed, but thought this clarification is in order.
