06 Chevy Silverado 4x4 v6 I bought this thinking it would work oem after the time and money other parts tests i replaced this and found out it’s cheap and defective please buy this get the more expensive one and save time this was a real bother constant code and loss of power with a manual is a pain in the butt

I am an automotive technician 22 years And purchased two of these igniters for my truck. The sensor Works as it should, but throwing a check engine light for the ignition coil circuit. I went ahead and replaced the ignition coil With a brand new one to only still have a check engine light. I installed a used igniter that I had laying around and the light went off. I Reinstalled the igniter that I got from Amazon and the light came back on confirming Igniter throwing the check engine light. I bought two of these igniters so I installed the second one just in case the first was defective and again, the light came back on. This igniter will work to get you going but will leave a check engine light for ignition coil circuit. I gave it two stars for at least being functional

I was having #3 Cylinder misfire on my 96 Chevy Silverado C1500 5.7L V8 and though this was the culprit so I took a chance since my original is 27 years old and I'm restoring my old baby to it's former glory. GMT400 Truck making a come back. When I installed this Ignition control module and my computer finally relearned the new part. I now do not have a code P0303, number 3 misfire reading on my OBD2 scanner. My truck preforms like it was new again thanks to this part. So far it is functioning like it's suppose to. It was a fantastic price as well so I figured, why not give it a try. It arrived very fast as well and easy to install on my truck. Very pleased with this product so far. Would recommend giving this a try.
