This is a nicely made case but does not have a cutout for the camera button. The cutout is shown in the ad but is not on the product. It is also too short in the long direction. I couldn't squeeze the phone in. The width was fine.

I usually don’t give reviews on products however, in this case, I really wanted people to know the quality of this case, especially for the low price. The holster piece is plastic but feels high-quality. The clip for the belt is strong. I’ve already hit it on several things and it didn’t break or come off of my belt. Sliding the phone in and out of the case is really easy. It’s a smooth action it doesn’t give or hang on anything but once fully seated, it does not come out. I took it off my belt, shook it up and down, and it stayed inside the case. The stand on the back of the phone case itself is rigid and stands up well. I didn’t feel as if I was gonna break it opening and closing it. Overall this is an excellent product for the cost. The case for the phone itself is a two piece case of a rubber insert and a plastic outer shell. Once the phone’s in there it feels very sturdy. It’s got a great raise on the on the front of the phone to keep you from scratching your your screen. Also, the raise on the camera is very nice. It doesn’t seem to be too bulky, but does protect the camera well from scratching if you lay down on the counter or drop it, I would highly recommend this case for anybody looking for a holster case.

Great protection. Fits with screen and camera protectors. Belt clip works well but the clip comes off from the belt when I exit the car. Must be the car seat. Or?

Pros: Easy to attach to a phone, Looks good Decent protection without a lot of extra plasticCons: built in kickstand broke after 4th use (tabs are too small )Personal preference but I found the slide in feature awkward and less user friendly than the snap in method.Hinge on belt clip is failing after a handful of uses.

Last year I shopped for a belt clip holster for my iPhone 15 Pro Max and tried a top clip and side clip holster. The top clip worked but was difficult to open with my thumb and the side clip was awkward as well. I came across the slid-in Motive which just let my phone slide into the holster and out with just a thumb and forefinger. I tried the Motive though I thought it might also just slide out accidentally. No! It was precision made to remain in place with little effort until needed. A built in stop keeps it ready for use but not quite all the way into the holster or if pushed past the stop all the way in it is really secured but can be easily popped up for use when needed. When the iPhone 16 was released this year I bought one and searched without success for the same Motive for iPhone but there was only a top latch model available and I got that. It worked well but was bulky and protective and a handful and awkward to remove the phone. After a month I searched Amazon again for the Motive slide-in for iPhone 16 Pro Max and there it was! Same features as for the 15 plus a cutout for managing the camera. Buttons all work precisely for volume, etc, it’s protective but not bulky, and a pleasure to use. Quality, well thought out design. I love it.

I've been using Holster cases for years. Specifically slide in holster cases. For my older iPhone 11 I went through several of these because the case material was so thin and brittle parts would break off around the button cutouts. But I like the slide out feature so when I updated to the 15 I needed new cases. I bought several. The old thin ones with the slide down kickstand. But as the other reviewer mentioned they don't have full edge coverage. For a few weeks I used a full clear case with an Encased clip in holster. They weren't designed to go together but the fit. The case was slick and I dropped the phone once which I never do. I could not get used to the latch on the top of the Encased clip. It was awkward to get out and I needed two hands. So I tried this case and this is the best slide in holster case I've tried. It has full edge coverage. It has some texture on the back for a little better grip. It slides in easily. There is a little click that sets it in place in the holster. There is a kickstand that works but it is not a robust design. I pulled it off the first time I opened it. I don't really need it. One of the best features is that this holster case if Mag Safe compatible. I have it on an Apple Mag Safe charger on a stand and it grips really well. No complaints. Actually, sometimes when I remove it, I pull the charger out of the stand. A few days ago my phone slipped off a stool I set it on and hit corner down on a concrete floor about 18 inches. Not even a smudge on the case. I'm glad I had this case on instead of the older ones I used. This case is a keeper.
