Installation is pretty easy if you've ever worked on a dirtbike. I'd figure if you're buying these, you have done some wrenching. How you go about installing these will depend on where your bleeder screws are currently oriented in your fork-caps. If they are in a place where you can get to them directly with a screwdriver, then your installation is very simple... just remove the OEM screws and put these in there. If your bleeders are obscured by the bars, you have two choices on how to proceed: remove the bars, or rotate the fork-legs. Neither option is terribly difficult, it just will depend on how much your setup requires taking stuff apart to get access to the fork caps.I.e, if you have to remove a bunch of stuff on your handlebar to be able to remove it, then maybe you're better off doing the fork-leg rotation. I imagine folks with a a steering damper or a complicated set of doo-dads on their bars may want to avoid having to move any of that stuff (if it needs to be moved/removed to get the bars out of the way).Fork-leg rotation just involves removing the front wheel and loosening the triple-clamp pinch-bolts. The upshot of course being that some folks don't enjoy doing fork-alignment when they put the wheel back on later and they worry over it a bunch. So, pick your poison... you'll know which is the way to go.Beyond all that, these things do exactly what you expect... push the little button, air squirts out (if there was any trapped in there). I've seen no oil-leakage of yet, but I've only done a couple of rides thus far.I trust Motion Pro, these things feel well made.

If you do your research and know what size you need you will be satisfied with the product. The correct thread size and pitch will allow for a simple and effortless install. These went in with just fingers and required only a snug against the o-ring to seat. If you are damaging the item with a tough install, you probably ordered the wrong size for your forks. Nice to have as just one more guard against seal damage and proper operation

Used to replace (red)cheap copy that was too long and Internal valve seat pushes onto the fork spring top washer when pushed in to open the valve. MotionPro mini valves cost 4x as much but are worth it. Shorter overall, better quality, and the valve seat is internal to the unit.

Went in easily on my 2016 WR250R. The instructions say you're supposed to rotate the fork tube until you can thread in the bleeder, but mine were in a decent spot where I didn't have to do that luckily. I just went hand tight and then a little more. I used some super lube on the threads and o-ring and everything seems to be working fine. Don't forget to take all the weight off the front tire when you bleed the forks. Bleed them often! We'll see how my fork seals hold up with this product. I bleed after every ride.

Got these and one of this wasn't made correctly. The bleeder whole was not drilled all the way and would not release the pressure. Im sure they work great but I cant use the ones I received.

Very tight fit on 2007 kx450f KYB forks. The brass slots stripped when installing on both. They are in, but don't look great because of slots look wrecked. When installing you need to use a lot of pressure to hold the vent button down and also the bleeder is wedged between the cap nut and rim of fork cap. I used a wide slotted driver that fit perfectly...thought it wouldn't happen on the second one after slipping on the first, but it did. They would be easier to install on flat fork caps like on my 09 kx250f or 05 kx125 although I used motion pro bleeders that are installed with a socket.
