I LOVE that this is a humane trap. It was easy to set up and use and we caught a mouse in each mouse house hotel over night. I was able to transport the houses in a reusable shopping bag, relocated them to the woods and let them both go! They were unhurt, happy and hopped right off. I left some nuts for them so they had some snacks on their new journey. I’m so happy these traps exist!

These traps definitely work. I have recently been having a little mouse issue and have purchased a total of 6 traps and caught 5 mice so far. I love that these traps are humane and are easy to release the mouse once outside. They are semi-easy to clean. The food compartment itself is easy to clean, however the mice typically poop a lot in the trap and it gets stuck under the lever and can be hard to clean.Only bad notes: I have bought 6 traps total but only 5 survived. One trap the lever no longer worked, meaning the door wouldn’t snap shut. I pushed down as much as I could on the lever and the door stayed open, so had to toss that one. Other issue was one mouse I caught, his tail got stuck in the door (in one of the photos). Thankfully he wasn’t in there too long so I was able to release him but I think a longer trap design would be beneficial to prevent this.Even with these small downsides, I am still eating 5 stars because these things do work! And for people like me who have pets and can’t keep snap or poison traps around (not that I want to anyway!) these are amazing.

After a particularly cold spell, we noticed our toilet paper roll being shredded at night. We bought this pair of traps, because we hate the idea of killing a little critter just because they wanted some warmth. We stocked one trap with savory treats (meat, cheese) and the other with sweet treats (trail mix, peanut butter). Two days later, the cute culprit was caught. She preferred the peanut butter for anyone wondering.Great trap. Easy to set up, and super sensitive. Clearly effective. Love that it’s reusable and comes with some cleaning tools. Happy to have quickly caught the mouse without harming it!

Finally got the little guys. I’m wondering if there is more!? It was easy and it works exactly as it says it will. I did take the time to practice opening up the door, so once I would’ve captured the mice, I knew exactly how to do it. It worked overnight checked it the next morning. Set them free. Highly recommend if you want to go this route a little more humane.Update - Been using these for a week or more and they definitely work. The one big issue is one of them is not working anymore with the latch. The door won't stay open so I am thinking the plastic latch holder is no longer able to keep the door down. A disappointment that these don't last longer than a week.Another update- I didn't realize the coin had slipped under the platform! The motel latch does work and I do highly recommend them for anybody wanting to go this route with the little critters.

Me encantaron, son para ratoncitos pequeños, al principio su colita quedó atorada (pobrecito) y no cerró bien la puerta, pensé que iba a salirse al mover la trampa, la puse vertical y con el peso del ratón se zafó la cola, después fue liberado al campo sin más sufrimiento que el machucón de cola y un poco de estrés porque no se cuanto tiempo estuvo ahí. Las super recomiendo, me hizo muy feliz poder dejarlo libre.
