I applied the film protector first so I don’t get my finger prints on the screen. I used the applicator to smooth out the bubble as I applied it but left scratch marks. The film quality is poor. Then I put on the top cover but it will not fit. I tried for 20 minutes and decided not to continue because I was afraid that I might break or damage my laptop screen. The bottom cover fit with little struggle. I could deal with the scratches on the screen film but the top cover is just too tight/small, does not fit. Returning it.

This came exactly how it said it would. The color is a perfect match (I got the pink one). The fit is right. It doesn’t slip off. The quality is great. I’ve dropped my computer a few times and the case hasn’t cracked and neither has my computer.

I bought my MacBook Air 13" because I liked it's thin-and-light dimensions that make it the ideal portable replacement for my Dell XPS 17" Lug-able. Unfortunately, while on the road, my MacBook Air slipped off of a hotel bed and onto their tiled floor. Luckily, there was no damage - but I immediately ordered the Mosiso case to protect against future falls. The Mosiso comes complete with hardened plastic cases for the top and bottom halves of the Air, both of which snapped into place for me, as well as a keyboard "skin" that serves to protect against spills from your cup of morning coffee. There is also a screen protector - which I couldn't seem to rid of trapped air bubbles and eventually just tossed away. The bottom piece came with two 1 1/2" flat tabs that lay flat but which can be pried up and hinge back to form study upright feet that hold the keyboard surface at a comfortable typing angle. Very nice.BUT...the cases necessarily add thickness around the edges of the Air and several ounces of additional weight, two aspects of its protective character that impact my original desire for purchasing my Air in the first place. If I weren't such a klutz and had Gecko hands, I would opt to go without the case - but what I give up in Coolness I gain in Peace of Mind. I've made the trade-off - will you?

There's one spot where the edges don't line up, but that's just me nitpicking. Love the look of this case. Fits tight. Very tight. Almost hard to put on in spots, but I'd rather it be super secure than have it loose and falling off! The color is exactly as advertised. The MacBook Air closes fully. The case is not light weight. It adds some hefty, which I actually find myself liking. Haven't tested how it stands up to dropping, and I hope I never have to lol. I even like the keyboard dust cover. The screen protector didn't stick, but it's probably just a dud. Overall I'd say it's worth every penny!

I got this for my wife for added protection when flying and traveling to protect her new MacBook Air. Nice feet on the bottom the fold out to give a slight angle to the keyboard for easier typing. Great product and good price!
