I was really happy with how well this did. It fit my wife’s bike perfectly and made it much easier to take her bike on trips with us. The only downside is that the pin at the front doesn’t have any sort of protection between it and the metal of the handlebars. I solved it by just tying a sock there for longer drives.

My wife's bike is a step through and needs a cross bar to fit onto our hitch rack. This bar is heavy, strong, sturdy, and fits the bill. The only issue I had with it is affixing the bar to the bike is somewhat awkward because the spring adjusted lengthening connector must be held at the right length while simultaneously inserting the closing pin to hold the bar in position. I am able to affix the bar properly, but it takes a bit of effort.

Easy to install on my Aventon Pace 350 electric bike. I did add some foam padding around the handle bar stem to prevent scratching. Happy with my purchase.

I used this to transport my 60lb e-bike on a car bike rack. It worked really well and didn’t scratch the bike at all on a 4 hour drive. It could easily hold even more than that. I will continue to use it for a long time.

Just out of the box and tried it in my ebike, but not in transport yet.Spring load adjustment is tight and you have to hold the bike to keep it from moving when you are attaching the bar, so no concern about the bar falling out.It’s occurred to me that all these bars put upward pressure on the seat mount, so the seat mount is supporting more than half the weight of the bike when in transport. This is especially important to consider with a heavy ebike. Make sure that your seat is attached firmly and consider a secondary support for the rear of the bike!
