You are able to put your hand in the back and control the mouth with a lever on the control stick. The head can tilt and turn all the way around. One hand operation while the dummy sits on your lap or on a table, stool, etc. The Super Deluxe Upgrade adds moving eyes, a wig and even moving eyebrows! WHAT MAKES OUR UPGRADES SO SPECIAL? We're not alone in thinking that our upgraded ventriloquist dummies are the best in the business. Before you consider buying an upgraded Famous Character dummy from someone else, consider that... Our upgraded mouth mechanisms are created with springs, metal and wood pieces. Others use materials like rubber bands and elastic. Our hard hollow bodies are all wood wrapped with material. Others use some or no wood with cardboard or have only a partial shell. Our head posts are made of wood, not the pvc (plastic) parts that others use. Before you consider buying from someone else, we suggest you ask about these important issues.

First and foremost my son knew he was getting this for Christmas but he just could not wait he was absolutely enthralled that it was here but I told him he wasn't getting it till Christmas Day and that was still weeks away as the suspense built at Christmas day was finally here he opened up the custom box that I had made for it and was absolutely enthralled as you can see from the picture it made him so happy unfortunately when the dummy arrived it's job was popped out of location due to being mishandled in shipping so I fixed it but his mouth kept sticking open so I contacted throughout things and they were absolutely 100% helpful without any snags sent me a new head to replace and sent the old one back which worked out 100% perfect and I thank them very much for this very good service stand behind everything that they do if you're going to buy a ventriloquist dummy buy it with them

Ordered as gift. Was not what husband wanted. Mortimer had quality suit and hat. Item was as described. Would have kept if he liked it.
