These are the flimsiest wing nuts I've ever used. The coil inside takes alot of effort to get it to grab onto the wires. I have zero confidence in them.

These specialty wing nuts are working well for me. They are not quite as robust as I expected and can distorted by over torquing. Still, with reasonable care they work well.

No problems with this product. For the DIYer: this wire nut is intended to be used for joining ground wires only, not neutral or hot. The hole in the end allows extending a bare ground wire through the nut while joining it with other grounds. to e.g. join grounds from two Romex cables and ground a device without using an extra pigtail.

Excellent to use when connecting multiple grounding wires to one point. Ensures a secure connection and decreases the likelihood of your grounding wires coming apart. Definitely worth it.
