Neat tool to give you a idea about what effects what , I'm sure there are many factors the tool can't compensate for , but it's gets you in the ball park . Fine tuning from there .

I still have my original Power Speed Calculator from the 70's. it yellowed over the years and is a little hard to read, so when I saw the chance to purchase a new one, I did. Love it, now if I could just find the Pete Jackson Tire/Traction Calculator from the same era...

I bought one of these in the 1970's when I began drag racing. After about 60 years, age took it's toll, it became unusable and I needed a replacement. These are the same calculators used back then and are some of the best for making "quick and dirty" calculations at the track. The only improvement I could recommend is that the horsepower range be extended to 1500 to 3000 hp to make ET and MPH estimations easier for higher horsepower cars.

I have had the old model for 40 years and it has saved me a lot of time. I ordered a new one for my son-in-law and after looking at the new information that has been added to the slide rule type calculator I had to have one for myself.Numbers never change so it will never go out of date. If you love drag racing or building cars this is a MUST HAVE ITEM.........MR66 CHEVELLE SS
