I have a couple of K&Ms, which are superior in every way--at a cost of more than double this stand's cost. This stand is lighter weight, the felt pads aren't nearly as plentiful or nice as the K&Ms, and there's no rubber tip at top. So I probably won't be using this with my Bach or Yamaha, but I have a few cheaper horns it will be good for. I'd say this would be decent for students, or for someone like me looking for a spare stand on the cheap.

The stand is pretty. It does hold the trumpet pretty stable. The felt pads were coming unglue. I will need to glue those down with better glue or they will come off for sure. The mute is just tragic. It's a bit too short. I would recommend this for the stand alone.

The stand legs thread back into a small cone allowing for easy transport. Works well going back and forth between home and school practices. Fits easily into a backpack for transport. Recommended!

Holds a trumpet, but better yet also folds up neatly. Great for on the road use.
