Good quality moog part. Includes the grease fitting, nut and split pin. Installed fine no problems I'm sure it will last as long as you keep it greased.

This went on my 2002 Silverado 2500 HD Duramax four-wheel-drive, with 265. 75. 16, BF good rich all terrain TA/KOs.I wish people would put their vehicle information when they’re writing reviews. This idler arm is a direct fit. Installed it in about two hours, kind of hard to get to. Had to use a puller on it. Rather on the old one to get it off. Was significantly easier than the Pitman arm! After I replace this and the Pitman arm the truck had absolute zero play in it. It’s only been a month, but now I can see how long my old ones were bad. At least two or three years maybe longer. After replacing them it’s like night and day. For an 18-year-old truck it drives like brand new, well, almost!

I installed the Tie Rods (both ends), Pitman Arm, Idler Arm, and Idler Arm bracket on my 2006 Duramax. It was a big job, but I was able to accomplish having never done it before. The Moog parts are excellent and all fit to factory specs. You can review my video on the install on Youtube. Just look up my username and you shall find. Product as described and seems to be a worthy replacement in my 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLE (classic). Price was great compared to local retailers that wanted almost double for the same mfg/part number.

You cannot beat moog and at these prices, you will find yourself feeling fleeced if your local shop is trying to charge jobber -and- retail. Call around, there are shops that are happy to let you supply parts. Don't let them try to charge extra to replace the idler arm bracket, the job is easier and takes less time to replace both then to separate and re-use the idler bracket. A simple "jobs easier to replace both"I was going to do this job myself, but watching the guy with 20 years experience struggling to get the factory parts off, on a rack with the proper tools and I knew had I started this job, my truck would have ended up on a flatbed to the shop.

Purchased this along with other quality Moog front end parts for my Yukon 2500 (4X4 w/6 liter). Amazon has the best price & with the Prime shipping you can't go wrong! This Idler Arm is very simple to change - took all of 45 minutes to assemble & switch out. Would definitelty buy again!

I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.6l CCSB 4x4, These trucks are hard on suspension and chassis parts, idler arms and pitman arms wear out in as little as 5k miles if using aftermarket wheels with larger tires and more offset. Moog parts are great because they are less expensive than ACDelco and are heaver duty. There is also a support kit made by cognito motorsports that aides these parts in extended life. The Idler arm is in a difficult position to grease as needed, so I recommend adding the remote grease hose and fitting from Moog.
