I bought this for a 1 year old. When it arrived it had a label that said "Choking hazard. Toy contains a small ball". The animal shapes are solid wood and I see no ball. However the wood is a bit rough and the paint is cheap. I will not give this to a 1 year old that will put it in her mouth.

This was a Christmas gift for my 11 month old great grandson. He wouldn't put them down and played with them the whole time he was here - even with all the other stuff he received, this seemed to be his favorite.

The whole family is obsessed with these stacking toys, even though they were bought for baby! They are adorably painted and made of durable wood. They come in a nice plastic storage box and also come with a cloth bag. The fun part are the cards that you can blindly choose and challenge each other to stack that configuration. Baby loves that everyone wants to play with his toys!

Well made and the magnets work great to connect the train cars. Gave to a two yr old and he was able to join the trains and pull them around with no help.
