The Monstrum Red Dot Screw Kit includes 16 of the most commonly used screw types for mounting your red dot to your preferred pistol mounting platform. Includes M3, M4, #4-40, #6-32, #6-40, and #6-48 screw patterns. Plus multiple lengths of each screw pattern for proper depth across different pistol makes and adapters.
Monstrum Red Dot Screw Kit includes 3 screws each of the following screw types:
M3 (11mm and 12mm length)
M4 (8.6mm and 10.1mm length)
#4-40 (6.35mm, 8mm, and 9.5mm length)
#6-32 (8mm, 9.5mm, 11mm, and 12mm length)

Red dot hardware is crafted from stainless steel and uses Torx T10 heads to prevent stripping. Recommended torque of 15 inch-pounds. Three screws of each type are included, providing a spare for lost or damaged screws. Screws come with blue loctite for secure mounting.

I saw this set and thought, this would be a great set of screws to have on hand.Today I received my new optic for my IWI Masada ORP and the screws did not work in the holes! I tried both the 5mm and the 5.5mm and neither would start in the holes. The Masada comes with several plates but mine did not have the "included" screws.Then I thought, "I just bought that set of screws 'just in case'. I wonder if this is just the case?" I pulled out the Monstrum Red Dot Screw Kit and tried the 12mm 5mm screws and they fit exactly! I have no idea why the screws form the optic did not fit with the same size, but the Monstrum Red Dot Screw Kit screws were an exact fit!If you have any handguns that are optic ready, you NEED to get this Red Dot Screw Kit!Just in case! I will keep these at the ready for the future needs of future red dots!

The advertisement for this product is accurate, so I will not repeat it here. The Screw Kit comes with every screw that you will ever drop and lose, or need to complete a project. You get a lot of screw (3 in a bag) sets and 1 extra in case you mess one up. Each size screw comes in it's own clearly marked bag with it's size on it. The screws look well made and durable. Very satisfied.

All of these screws passed my thread checkers for proper threads, except I didn’t have a checker for the 6x48 screws. The blue thread locker tab engaged the socket threads well on all but one of the screw sizes. The blue thread locker on that one screw size was applied too thinly to properly engage. The screws are all in individual well labeled ziplock bags. The labels include the screw size info and required wrench size (all require T10). I tried various T10 bits with these screws. The fit of these screw sockets was somewhat loose on all the T10 bits, even those that were tight on other brand screws, but they did engage and I could achieve the recommended 15 in-lb torque. For my first needed use, I found the proper diameter/thread count/overall length in this set, however the thread length was too short and the shoulder length was too long for them to fit properly. The shoulder lengths on many of these screws may be an issue with some installations (like mine). In summary, the screws in this set all threaded well and there is a good size range included, but as I found, it is not fully inclusive - especially given the shoulder lengths. Also the fit of the T10 heads is looser than I would like.

The package comes with 16 packets that contain 3 screws each with varying sizes and lengths. They all have blue loctite applied and have T10 torx heads. This is a great package to have handy if you run into issues changing out or installing red dots with the included screws. No more emergencies that lead to wasting time and money searching for the right screws.

Perfect thing to have around for mounting optics. This pack has every possible screw you might need to mount your optic to your slide. They’re all nicely packaged and labeled so there’s no fumbling around trying to figure out which one is which.
