The 2004 Buick Park Avenue had air shocks in the back that also had a little compressor attached to them.Got the car used and of course by then the original air shocks were leaking. The compressor was always coming on and the ride was not great. Disconnected the compressor, pulled out the air shocks and put these in. Been in now for a couple years. No issues. Rides great.

Installed them in my 2007 Cadillac dts ! Great quality so far and very easy to install . My car was sagging bad with the Monroe air shocks which was torn and air was not holding . These coil shocks are the best thing to convert to . After installing my car now sits pretty high around level height and I have 200lbs of sound system in the trunk and my car doesn’t even sag at all. Great conversion kit . No noises , no clunking , no bouncing . Will recommend .

Quick replacement for the air shocks on a 2006 Lucerne CXL. Very easy to install, but the ride height is much higher, and very, very stiff. These are NOWHERE NEAR comparable to the air ride shocks. I had to put 2 bags of ice melt in the trunk to help smooth out the ride. Even with the extra weight the ride is still uncomfortable, and bounces me around. I am praying that these break in and start to feel better soon, or I will be forced to re-install the air shocks. So far, after 2 weeks and a few hundred miles, it's not looking good. Yes, It's that bad.**UPDATE** I got tired of the terrible ride so I replaced these with the OREDY shocks. What a difference!! Much, much smoother ride! And much less spring noise from the back end. Not quite to the level of the air shocks, but good enough for me. I will never order Monroe products again!

These shock fit exactly as intended on my 2097 Buick. They were easy to install and the directions were very helpful.

I used these to replace the air shocks on my 2000 park avenue. My compressor finally quit and the air shock’s actually rusted solid. These provide a shock absorber as well as enough spring to approximate the air bags inside your original shocks. At first I thought they were going to sit too high but after about a week the car looks normal. Installation is straight forward as there are no air connections required. The ride is still supple. I really can’t say I notice a difference between these and the air shocks.

These arrived with everything needed to replace faulty air shocks. The job took ~2.5 hours without any air tools. After completing, I pulled the eleccmprssr 30A black box fuse, and got no computer errors and the compressor doesn't run anymore. The ride is much improved over the failing air shocks, but a bit stiffer than when the air shocks were working. It feels like the rear of the car sits a bit higher and might rock slightly side to side, but there is no longer any bouncing after hitting a bump. After 2 weeks, I'm not noticing as much settling as I expected, which is fine with me as it will support a load of I carry passengers or cargo. It looks normal, not like the rear end is too elevated.Would buy again, but I think expect they'll outlast the car-already has 200,000k miles!

Have not used monroe in over 20 years with the air ride i had kyb. Seems ok so far with new monroe . My air ride still works and have really had no problems with it. My problem came with the coil spring seats rotting out. Over all even with some weight in the trunk, they seem to be holding without sag. Write more further later.Otherwise the first where the wrong parts 4 set instead of two , guy i spoke with had been very helpful in the replacement. Unfortunately, with that i could not replace them with my time off when intended. Not the guy I spoke width's fault. Has more to do with shipping. I work third shift mostly 6 days a week in a supermarket. My time is very limited to when i have time off.
