I bought this product for my conure she has been pulling her feathers but it was too big for her.

I bought this for my Indian Ringneck, who has been self mutilating. I had previously purchased 2 much more expensive collars from a parrot specific website, one was to heavy and the other irritated his naked shoulders. I liked that this collar was soft and that he could move about normally in it. Unfortunately, the collar is too big. It slips over his head. I wish there were a couple of button positions that could make it tighter.

Other collars are too long, this one is sufficiently snug but my parrot is still able to stretch it out to try and get it off. He’s unable to get it off but has stretched it out so that he can still preen but makes it difficult to pluck in areas I want him to stop plucking. I tried around 7 collars and this one has held on the best because he can’t get the button undone but at the same time, is able to mess around with it and it’s light enough so that he can fly, climb, etc without immense difficulty. Will buy again since he’s tearing it apart.

Very cute! Easy to use and light weight snaps are easy to use. Comes with a cute little hanger.
