I keep a lot of notes and having this on the side of my computer has helped keep my desk clean. And you can write on it with dry erase markers.

Firstly I am not using this memo holder attached to a monitor but rather attached to my desk's hutch next to my calendar. The problem the holder resolved was I would paper clip appointment cards, etc., to my hanging calendar, which would cause it it have weight on one side and tilt -- looking messy. Now I can use a small piece of tape to attach the reminders to the memo board - no more covering up of calendar dates, no more tilted calendar.
