It's a wonderful addition for a new mom who is forever in stress about her baby gaining weight or not. In between doctor appointments, it becomes really hard to track baby's weight and you kinda hope that everything is well with baby. Well, this thing can be solved with this product when you can check your baby's weight at home. Yess!! Not only this, once the baby has outgrown the scale, the tray can be removed and now it can be used as a normal weighing scale What!! π€© The fact that adults can use the scale for their own weight check is a huge win. It's not just for baby but the whole family can use it now.

The scale arrived days after our baby was last weighed at the pediatrician, and the weight was the same plus a few ounces, which accounted for the fact that she was wearing a diaper (compared to peds, which is no diaper) and probably gained a couple of ounces of weight since her weigh-in. Additionally, I used it on "Mom Mode", and that worked great. Mom Mode is a mode where the baby tray is removed and the scale functions like any other bathroom scale. In that mode, this scale gave me basically as my regular bathroom scale that I have been using for years. I trust that scale, and now I know that I can trust this one, too.The scale comes with a manual that is easy to navigate. That said, the scale itself is very intuitive, and I quickly ditched the manual and was able to figure out how to change into the functions I needed to start using the scale right away. Overall, this scale provides a reliable and fuss-free way of tracking the progress of your newborn baby at home. I love it.I was able to request and get this scale for free from Amazon Vine, and I would have no problem spending my own money on this if I had to get another one. I highly recommend.

It looks nice. I'll give it that.I have a sick cat that I'm slowly trying to watch his weight. Yes it's for babies, but my fur baby is my baby too.I've been using a box and postal scale to keep up with his weight, and when a cat is sick and skinny, every ounce matters.He's being treated for various conditions and he has a follow-up with the vet to see if he's putting any weight back on.He gets weighed daily to track his progress. . There's a minimum weight that he has not gone below, but I put him on this scale and something seemed off. He weighed less than ever.I weigh in pounds/ounces but grams is more exact so I checked his gram weight and weighed him on the other scale and they did not match up.I have gram weights to make sure my scales are calibrated because I'm a soap maker. Some soap recipes are measured in grams, some in ounces. It's like a lab experiment making sure the lye/water ratio matches.With the discrepancy, I decided to check the calibration on the baby scale. This one is not calibrated correctly. For reference below, I placed 90 grams in weights on the scale. The scale should have read 90, but showed 85. Checked the same weights on my other scale as reference, and it showed the correct 90 gram weight. Tried different things to see if the results would change. This one did not.Since it's not accurate, I can't use it for the purpose I wanted it because I don't want to have to do mental gymnastics figuring out his exact weight.Not saying that every scale will be like this so in fairness, it's possible the one I received has a balance issue or the calibration is off. One of the feet on the bottom wiggles in place, so it's possible it was that. There was no way to twist it (screw it in) to tighten it.The packaging was nice and it was packed with great care. It's aesthetically pleasing.It's a shame, because this was easy to get the cat to sit on like a little loaf of bread waiting patiently.If you just want general weight, it will do the job. If you have a sick baby where you need to track every ounce, then this may not be for you.It's a decent product overall. Just want to give you accurate information for this experience. If it was accurate, it would have received 5 stars.

We use this for puppies and small dog to maintain weight records. With Toy breeds weightcan be very harmful and noticing the weight gains is hard to see so this comes in very handy.

I love this scale. Itβs very easy to use and itβs just like putting the baby down for a second. Iβve had it for a little bit and still works great itβs very useful to keep track of weight outside of doctors visits. It feels accurate and is quite easy to use.

Any product that we bring into our house is likely multifunctional and this scale is one that we love! It has been great to use for our baby so we can track her growth from the convenience of home. Also good for our toddler since the time gap between doctor visits goes to six months after a certain age.Love that this is convertible from having the topper so that baby can lay down to be comfortably weighed, and it comes off so that bigger kids and adults can stand directly on the scale. Be sure to read instructions to see how to switch the modes between uses. Great quality and good value!

This is a nice little baby scale (that can also be an adult scale if you have small to average-sized feet), and it comes with a tray that has a pretty clever design that let's you also measure the baby's height if you can get them to sit still. My only complaint is that it's battery operated with no included plug. 3 AAA batteries won't last long, so unless you take them out between uses, you might need to replace them multiple times.Otherwise, this a great tool for charting your kiddo's growth from the comfort of your own home between doctor's visits.
