Doesn't work, at all. The moles don't seem to care that they are there and in fact have create even more holes.

These were ready to go. I only needed to screw them in and turn them on. We have an issue with moles and mice near our chicken coop. Two days in and no holes in the ground or near the coop. I love that they are solar. So far , so good.

Installed 4 of these to test its functionality in protecting against Gophers who have been terrorizing my garden. They did not work as evidenced by the fact Gophers dug a hole right next to the installed repellent pole.

It’s already warming up near us, and I needed a device to keep the birds away from my seedlings. It’s quiet yet the vibration is an effective deterrent.

Can’t find out how long solar takes to charge nor how long unit lasts after a charge. Both key pieces of info. I know when charged for two days the vibrations are strong, not so when power is low. Units turn off when power gets low which makes sense but it seems you have to cycle on/off switch to get them going again. Will look for an alternative.

Seem to be built decently, motor runs strong, seems to me that it would draw a lot of power over time for how continuously it runs. I could see how it would be easy to break while screwing into the dirt. My particular mole digs PERFECTLY in the shade, I thought I could get away with something here, but just not super effective without a ton of sunlight. Just make sure you know where you're putting them before you buy. Nothing wrong with them that I've seen so far, I just can't keep em charged up enough to work well. In fact, I set two up, one at one end of his main run and one at the other, in the only two places my back yard gets sunlight throughout the day, and that stink bag made FOUR new mounds directly in between them, perfectly in a row. I think as a personal "F you" to me. Well, challenge accepted, I have moved on to "deadlier" options.Anyway, good product. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Edit: The solar ended up not working on two of them and I had to return them. Bummer.I just learned about this solution from my buddy two years ago and it actually works. Moles, and voles for me. I like that this model changes the pattern. That seems more effective than the original ones he had. The solar aspect works, and I am glad to not need to swap batteries like the ones I am upgrading from. If you twist them down into the ground enough, you can mow over them too. Maybe make a little divot. One hint for you: moisten the soil with a hose before you twist it in. Helps a lot.

The sticks are well made, and their screw design made it easy to push in the ground. We like their pre charged battery which allow us to test the vibrations before placing them in the ground. The range is supposed to be 50 ft diameters, but we found overlapping under 40 feet still see new mounds popping up. It could be the solar charger smaller comparing to other product? Also, we waited for 5 minutes for the next vibration. We didn’t feel it. As you can see our excitement quickly faded. We will wait a few more days to see if the mounts improve. If not, we will be returning them.
