The extension is flimsy and doesn't work well. It provides an extension but doesn't work as smoothly as if there was just a long extension rod.

This product did not work without me making revisions to the product. If you don't mind a little duct tape on your finished product it will be barely usable

The elaborate design will not hold the short pivot rod firmly enough. Totally worthless. I should have read the reviews before purchasing, but I believed the Moen name made it a sure bet, especially since I was installing an expensive Moen faucet. Shame on me.

Should've read all the other reviews first. This simply doesn't work as intended. The other reviewers are correct: it does not extend the rod in a way where it is rigid enough to elegantly control the drain mechanism.

As others have said I should have listened to the reviews this thing does not work. I’m not sure how this is an actual product for sale it’s like it was never tested after being designed.

Moen is aware of the problem with pivot rods that are too short. This is a terrible design because it isn't rigid. It's hard to believe that Moen can't hire an engineer to design an adequate extension.

This is NOT a rigid extension of the rod on the drain pop-up ball but pivots and thereby increases the travel required by the lift rod. Cannot lift mine high enough to open the stopper completely.Perhaps it might work with other pop-up designs but not with the Moen shown in the photo.
