I bought this item because I love putting pictures on wood and having them for myself and/or giving them as presents. I thought this would be so much faster than the mod podge on the paper and waiting 24 hrs for it to transfer good. I will admit that I may still need more practice but it has yet to clearly transfer a photo that I've done. I will keep trying because the instructional video made by the people at Plaid made it look so easy. Also, it gets EXTREMELY hot so be careful not to touch or let children or pets around it while it's on. No worries about your fingers while using it because it has a rubber grip where you hold it.

I'm enjoying putting my brand on the back of my wood products with this! So simple and easy to use.

Works well on small projects. Sometimes I just don’t want to heat up my large press for a small job

Good product works well, but please note it's 115v. I got caught out and had to buy a transformer to run the product in the uk

I could not get this product to work no matter what setting I used. It does get very hot so may be able to find another use for it. However I was unable to get it to transfer pictures.

It is a bit tricky to use! I’m sure you have to get the hang of it but I am not impressed yet so until then I can’t give higher star…

I am a big crafter and I bought and tried to use it. I used the wooden circles you can buy in bulk with bark on. It was a complete mess, ruined my photo and didn’t work. Instead it burned the pic and certain small areas transferred but wanted to roll at edges. I then tried balsa wood as I had some from my cricut maker and same results. If you purchase, use throw away photos. I returned mine and told them it didn’t work. I hope if you buy, you have better luck. Personally I would go with mod podge matte in jar after printing pic on ink jet printer or glossy pic, or print pic on wax paper and transfer. Those options will be a quarter of the headache the mod Podge Transfer tool is…😡
