This rack is VERY large. I mean it’s huge compared to every other hitch rack I’ve even ever seen. I got it to put on the back of our 5th wheel so that on longer trips we have plenty of quick access space right on the rear. It’s not incredibly heavy, but it does hold quite a bit of weight. It doesn’t look like it would be super sturdy all the way out on the edges, but it surprisingly holds weight pretty well. I certainly wouldn’t have your weight all on the edges, keep it centered. It holds well though it does take some work to assemble, but it’s not too terrible. It has plenty of space for tie downs, the rails hold things in place ok but they don’t come up very high. Overall, this is a great addition to storage for our rv.

This is an awesome carrier. I wanted one to use on long trips and have plenty of storage space. This is the one! The locking feature holds tight and you can tilt it up after unloading so it doesn’t impair your ability to park. Installing and removing is easy for two people. It meets all the functions that I wanted and expected out of a carrier.

Solidly built; no complaints - Be aware that it does weigh 70#, but it has a lot of space for loading. No problems with putting it together; easy for two people to set it in place on your vehicle.

I finally decided to purchase this particular cargo carrier after I shopped for 4 days from anyone that I could locate that sold them. It was so easy to install that my friend and I installed it in less than an hour after dark by flashlight. I really like this cargo carrier as it looks good, is very heavy duty, sturdy, and quite large. It shipped immediately and arrived in 2 days. It was a great price from Amazon and has a 10 year warranty.

yes it is large ! and upon opening I found assembly instructions very poor ! I guess it just the way CHINA sell's to the USA.The finish had many sharp burs and parts did not line up without a hammer and other tools , plus sandpaper to smooth out the burrs .and repaint. it also came with a spring bracket not listed ? were does it go ?I haven't mounted it yet on my 2021 Honda CRV . The price is great but be ready to make modifications .once mounted I will post a video about the problem's . I wish I had spent another $95 for a USA made one

This thing is a beast! The first thing you'll notice when you get the box is that it's significantly heavy. All the pieces seem well crafted and the powder coating was excellent. The pieces lined up well and all the hardware was a good quality with no burrs or thread issues on the nuts and bolts themselves.Once assembled it is very large with a ton of space. It does stick out a good bit behind the vehicle so there will be a fair amount of torque if you load it to capacity. It's best to have heavy duty shocks/springs in the back so your front end won't ride up too high. I was also a bit concerned about curb clearance etc especially if there this a break in angle that would cause it to bottom out but so far haven't had any trouble.Pay close attention to the orientation of the bed pieces if you want to get the assembly lined up for the license plate holder. Those directions are on a separate sheet to be completed after the initial assembly. It is VERY easy to end up with it assembled with the mounting holes "backwards" (facing the wrong direction)... don't ask me how I know! One nice feature is that it will fold up when not in use. This permits you to fold it up out of the way once emptied, allowing you to park an SUV in a space that is about four feet shorter than when it's deployed.Taking it on-and-off is not too difficult but will require you to take off the stabilizer bolt (so a wrench will be needed). Personally, I found it easier to slide it into the tongue if I had it in the 'folded upright' position. It is a bit awkward and bulky but manageable to do by yourself. Having help makes it a snap.**I have an older vehicle but I would assume this could be a bit problematic for a backup camera.**Over all I'm quite content with this item and anticipate using it to carry things to the beach on an upcoming trip in April.

This cargo carrier is great! Very easy to assemble and comes in handy for the camping trips. It's pretty big, so you'll have more than enough space for all the gear that won't fit in the car. Mine also doubles as a bike carrier. I mounted quick release frame mounts for my bikes, so this carrier can have multiple uses if you are creative about it. It will save room in your garage. Folds up and out of the way when not in use. Also has anti-sway device to keep it firmly in place when mounted.

With our Honda minivan packing more with our ever growing family from sports gear, groceries, and growing kids stuff, this cargo carrier couldn't have come at a better time! It folds up like magic when we don't need it, total space saver. While it's definitely got some weight to it, it's built very well and means I'm not worried about our stuff bouncing around on family road trips. Fits our Odyssey like it was made for it. We've been using it for everything from Costco hauls to weekend camping trips, and honestly, I'm wondering how we managed without it. If you're a minivan family running out of space, trust me this is your answer and I give it a high recommendation.
