I like this one a lot. I bought it March 2022 and it lasted 3 years before finally giving out. It doesn’t set off the metal detector. I’ve gotten it caught so many times I can’t count, and it still held strong.Definitely recommend it. I just ordered another one.

So great. My keys and badge are bungeed and don't hang stupidly. I have 100% confidence that this won't break before I retire from teaching :) Love it. I've gone thru 6 or more in the last 10 years and this is the first time one felt solid. THank you!!!!

I want to start this by saying I am very rough on retractable holders. I have been through many. I am always getting it caught in something and breaking them. That being said, I bought this when looking for a stronger badge holder. Boy was this worth every penny! I have been using it for 2 years and love it. Last week I caught it in my car door and expected it to break. Nope. My belt buckle broke off my jeans but this holder was Still perfect. I would highly recommend this to anyone and have even bought it for friends.

I use the clip to hang my keys from my belt loop and the ring for my keys, a large car key fob, Leatherman Micra, a small flashlight, and a pill holder. The keyring part is long enough for these items to hang inside my pocket, so they don't swing loosely, but not so long that the things crowd the bottom of my pocket, so I still have room for my wallet.(Update April 2023)The cord broke out of nowhere. There were no signs of fraying, catching, or kinking. It simply cleanly broke in an area that did not appear to be a stress point. Up until then, the keyring worked flawlessly. I bought a second one because I can't beat the convenience and functionality, but this time I'm going in knowing that this is not a one-time purchase and I need to keep a lookout for something less tacticool and more durable.
