The case was not metal. It was plastic, but it’s very durable. The retractable cord is heavy duty. I’m very pleased with this product.

I have had this item for well over 2 years, and from Monday to Friday it gets a work out. It remains in tact and great condition. For years I brought cheaper models with flimsy retractable cord. Very happy and will eventually buy again. The clip is a little tricky at times, however it is very secure and worth the small struggle.

These are the best badge holders in my opinion, very sturdy and the retractable part is one of the best I've had. I have to carry 4 badges and Ive moved all of them over between two.

Der Dienstausweishalter ist genial er ist sehr robust und sieht mega cool aus ich benutze ihn im Sicherheitsdienst und er macht einfach alles mit. Eine schöne Eigenschaft ist auch das mann noch andere sachen wie Schlüssel usw ran machen kann, und durch das sich selbst wieder einziehende band ist es super zu benutzen
