First off, I recommend going with a different connector. Maybe I was unlucky. I purchased this one and it was defective so I'm purchasing another from a different seller. I'm an IT professional and have completed multiple iPhone repairs before. This repair requires you to be patient and thoughtful about removing screws and iPhone components. It may take you two hours to complete the repair. The most challenging portion of this repair is that you must align the lightning assembly connector that connects to the iPhone logic board within a very small margin of error. Millimeters mater. You can reseat the lightning ribbon assembly to the frame a few times no problem to get it exact without losing its adhesive. There are two white alignment markers that can be seen through two holes in the assembly ribbon cable which make alignment much easier. The other challenging portion is getting the two microphones to connect to the bottom of the phone. I suggest removing the speaker mesh grills, attaching them to the microphones on the assembly, and then carefully reinstalling both the microphone and grill together as one piece. Again, I recommend looking at other sellers I did not have good luck with the part sold by this one. Thanks and good luck.

Product worked as intended, however, the adhesive needs improvement, I had to use my own adhesive to secure it ... installing it requires some knowledge of removing several parts from the device including the Logic/Motherboard. So this requires some technical ability and patience. I have quite a bit of experience so it would be easier for me than most. Would purchase again (despite the non effective adhesive).

This was perfect and after finding a good video on YouTube, and a few hours, I installed it and it worked great! Unfortunately, a day after installing, I dropped my phone and it was toast, so I can’t vouch for its longevity. But I’m sure it would have given my phone a longer life. I’m really happy with my purchase and would buy from this seller again.
