I have had drip irrigation for some time now, and it always seems that the leading manufacturers staked emitters are always lacking consistency in efficiency. When I installed these new ones , I easily adjusted them at the first testing , and have not had to touch these again yet..still fresh though. I also like the spray created by these, especially in flower baskets..they get all the dirt wet, not just spots in the baskets like my last ones.. I do have one complaint which is really not a complaint if you think it through, which is the hose nipple on these have a large keeper collar when you press on the hoses, and my fingers after approximately 20 of them back to back were real tired and sore from pushing them together without any tools..

4 years ago, I bought a bag of 50. They are functional but their connectors to 1/4" tubing are poorly designed. The barb a little too large and its connection to the sprayer is a little too thin. You must patiently wiggle the tubing back and forth to work it over the barb. If you push or wiggle using too much force, you will snap the connector off. The connector will definitely snap in two if you try to work the tube back off the barb. There are other problems with the sprayer. While the flow rate is adjustable, I have found that sometimes I need to try different sprayers from the bag until I find one that turns down low enough to use in a large pot. The spike has broken in half while I was attempting to press it into hard ground.

I have so far bought and used about 250 of these. They are easy to use and adjust. Only issue is the male connector on the emitter is a little big, which requires you to heat up your drip lines before connecting. But I guess that gives it a strong connection, none of them are leaking. On my setup I ran up to 50 nozzles on a single zone. The problem is by the time the water gets to the end of the line the pressure is very low. You end up having to restrict the flow at the start of the line to ensure the end will get water. Just a little tedious but it works. If you are running 50 nozzles and want all plans to get water you are going to have to tune them with a slow drip on each nozzle. If you plan on opening the emitter for a fan pattern you will be restricted to only 3 or 4 nozzles at best on your zone. I think most of the issue is the main drip line really restricts water flow. If you were to run a larger main line, with the smaller lines to each nozzle it might work better.

I bought fifty but thankfully I did not need them all. Most of them sprayed nice and round with a good bit of distance. Some didn’t spray very round and I had to switch out heads on spare ones to get ones that work good. Also they get very picky when you try to run them dialed down.

I have used these drip emitters previously and was disappointed with what I received this time around. MIXC redesigned the product but continue to use the old product images to advertise and set false expectations of what you will receive. Unless MIXC changes back to the previous model, I will not be purchasing these emitters again. Please note I pulled the attached product image from another Amazon review as it perfectly displays the product change. The old model is pictured on the left and the new model is pictured on the right. The product images on Amazon display that these have a 45 degree barb to connect to the 1/4" hose. What you actually receive is a 90 degree barb. These used to be just over 7" long but the product you receive now is just over 5" long. The new model is much lighter and the barbs break when attaching the hose even if you use heat. Lighter in this case translates into emitters that are weaker in design and prone to breaking. Many of the emitters had issues with water flow rate as if they were clogged.

The product is advertised to be 7” tall, and also have an angled connector. They’re tiny, not even close to 7”. Blatant false advertising. Waste of a month waiting for delivery.

Honestly, it is very rare nowadays to find a outstanding value in a great product, but this is definitely one of those. I usually don't buy cut flowers for my wife for Valentine's day. See loves plant and after 20+ years, she has a ton of them. What see does not have is a way to get them all watered without holding a hose on them which takes a lot of her time. Therefore, I decided to do something a bit different. I went looking for a solution to her watering problem. I bought her a very large bag of MIXC 200PCS Drip Emitters Fan Shape with Stake Water Flow. She was a little perplexed at first but when I showed her the video on how they work, she was thrilled. They are great quality and very easy to install and use. It is going to take us a little bit to get this all setup, but when we do, she can enjoy her plants a lot more while relaxing instead of tolling every day in the heat to keep them hydrated. It is clearly the gift that keeps on giving. Thanks MIXC for a great solution to her watering needs.

I've been using drip irrigation and various kinds of sprinklers for many years. These are the best I've found - a nice surprise given how cheap they are! They are performing at least as well as the spray heads I bought at the hardware store for $1-2 a head, with good coverage and adjustability. The barbs are a little wider than most drip heads I've used, so they do take some extra effort to shove onto the end of the tubing, but they are quite sturdy - haven't had a single snapped barb after installing a dozen heads - and certainly look like they won't come loose. I particularly like their strong coverage - when I adjust them to a wider circle, they still do hit the interior of that circle and not just the edge, so I can use them for row crops or turn them way down and use them like bubblers for individual plants.
