Then place endpin of your cello inside on of the three solid-grip holes located on the stopper. In order to secure the nylon strap to the endpin stopper, simply locate the end of the strap with a double-sided metal hook and look it through the corresponding metal piece on the stopper itself. This interlocking design makes sure the strap remains safely secured to the anchor. Conveniently shipped with the cello endpin stopper are image directions illustrating how to place the cello inside the endpin as well as how to hook up the nylon straps to the anchor itself. The fabric strap slips from the metal buckle, so it doesn't hold its position, and separate wooden cello piece is more easily detachable than you would expect. Also, since the strap is a light color, it shows dirt very quickly. I'm just about to order a different endpin strap with a black fabric strap.

Great elegant product, very durable materials. Totally as described in the pictures. I searched for hours in Amazon for a good cello endpin stopper and I think this one is the best, is heavy and constructed with very good materials, definitely the best I ever had, I will buy here again.This is an update after been playing for hours since I received it:1.- I do not even need the nylon strap because the foam is so good that there is no sliding when playing.2.- It is great there are not cheap plastic parts on it, every part is hard wood and metal.3.- Nylon strap is long enough to change the size as you want.As I said the best I ever had.

How is this stop not way more popular? Highly recommend. I love that it can be used with or without the strap. Compared to the traditional strapped one (Xeros) this one is fantastic, because the strap is made of a very high quality material. Adjusting it is smooth and easy. I also love you can separate the strap and stop for carrying in your case. I stick the strap in one spot, the stop in another. It also just looks nice. I'm an advanced cellist, not a beginner. Highly recommend.
