At first the product worked great but over time the fitting loosened by itself resulting in a very bad leak. I replaced the O-ring and added Red Loctite and hopefully it won't happen again. Will repost again after a number of months pass by again. At this point I wish I would have just spent the money on the replacement OEM part rather than bypassing with this kit. Oh well, you live you learn.

Definitely waste of money. Bend was too aggressive and caused the fluid to be restricted. had me chasing a terrible leak along with my power steering system feeling off just to find that this item caused both.

I bought this unit because GM discontinued the valve on the back of the power steering pump, and it was less costly than the general motors kit. It does exactly the same thing. Make sure to oil both O-rings before installation. Make sure everything is tight. You don’t want to pull the pump again to tighten a fitting. This will correct the erratic steering. Make sure to flush out power steering fluid until clear. Your steering may feel a little bit looser than you are used to. This is because of the different steering box used with the EVO set up. You can use a 96 or earlier steering box, if you want that tighter feel.
