It comes with multiple ways to mount this indicator and a nice case to keep everything together. You will always need a half thou indicator. This is something you should not skimp money on. Also make sure you understand what the angle of the needle needs to be and how it can affect your numbers.

Old adage, you get what you pay for. This is a quality indicator at a good price. Nice size dial and interchangeable tips. I use it on my Sherline mill to indicate everything true. Its a joy to operate. Highly recommend the few extra dollars spent to get quality vs cheap imposters.

This is one of the best indicators on the market that is sub Interapid. To include 3 carbide contact points. 2 stems and a height gage bar.. that is a ton of attachments that come with a $105 indicator as a set for $112! The contact points are worth $55 alone.This pairs perfect with a Noga fine adjustment spindle arm. Unlike Interapid you do not have a pivoting stem. Even though it comes with a similar dovetail mounted stem it is stationary. Due to this it is not a good pair with a indicol. The Noga works loads better as the fine adjustment aids in centering the travel. Where an Interapid you simply can push it into the wall of the bore and set it by hand. Another reason the Interapid is soo good plus it has a more generous .06” travel. Still used right this indicator is awesome and is very smooth and accurate. It may not be Interapid accurate but it is really close. Very comparable to a best test for half the price. Mitutoyo is the most reliable brand across the board imo. Brown and sharpe Tesa May own dial. Starrett may own verniers. Mitutoyo owns digital but everything they make is high quality Japan made and of all those big names it is the ONLY one you know where it was made without having to play detective.

Great product, but didnt expect to not have the swivel attachment included. That bar in the picture is not a swivel so you cant use it tram a mill head

Great indicator! Second one I've bought because I destroyed the first. Knew I had to replace my Mitutoyo. Great price for the quality, repeat ability, durability, and easy to read. Looking to purchase another one because I run multiple machines.
