Beautifully made and carefully packed in a 2 piece silicone rubber pack in a cardboard box. Oiled to resist corrosion so requires cleaning thoroughly before use. To prevent any corrosion after cleaning I am storing it in the original pack along with some anti rust vapor barrier paper. Allows checking of internal measurement accuracy of calipers and inside micrometers and zeroing or measurement compensation if needed.. My Mitutoyo and Igaging Absolute Origin digital calipers all check as dead-on. Bought on sale.
