I'm always on the lookout for a single forceps/clamp tool to do everything for my trout fishing. This isn't quite the holy grail but it's a definite keeper. I really like the convenience of the mitten mechanism. The tip is nice and narrow and well aligned. It grips and locks forcefully on everything from 2lb mono to metal hooks and jigs. For me there are only two cons: first, it's not as thin and agile as a surgical hemostat for tying uni knots. And second, the cutting blade does fine with mono and fluoro but no braid.

The angle and purchase you can get with you hand is far superior to finger hole style forceps. Easy to deploy and put back. These are great for having to deal with lots of hook sizes. Super slender and accurate for for removing deeply stuck hooks. Machine quality and price is great.
