Great little set for smaller jobs. I had several small jobs where I wanted to use a roller but a large roller would be a waste and not as effective.I really like to use inserts, because it seems ridiculous to waste 50 gallons of water to clean out your tray after you are finished. I buy inserts for my large standard tray, and I liked the fact that these came with 6 liners. Keep the pan clean, and saves water.

I like this one a lot. I’ve tried a few others and the red tray is helpful in that it stands out on drop cloth. The cutout on the front (to hold it in your hand) is very helpful. As an interior designer when selecting paint colors for a project I always do a test patch (several in fact) so I’ve gone through dozens of these little liners. Funny how I never thought to check Amazon. I’ve been purchasing these for years at my local Ben Moore and Sherwin Williams stores and even with my contractor discount the liners are $2-3 each. Great value on these for sure, and I’ve already ordered additional liners. Fwiw I bought two brands of these sets (of course.. it’s Amazon, you can’t just have one), and this one beats the other hands down.

This review is for the Paint Tray Set, 4 Inch Paint Tray and Liners-6 Pack, Sturdy Plastic Paint Tray with 5 Tray Liners, Paint Pan Liners, Small Paint Trays for Painting... Offered by the Mister Rui Store- They are a nice thick plastic liner, and very easy to clean... So they are definitly reusable. You should get several uses out of these liners before you need to dispose of them.- The included magnet is a nice touch, and holds the brush firmly.- Great price (currently $9.98)- I highly recommend this paint tray set.

Nicely packaged and high quality item. I've got a lot of baseboard and crown molding to paint so I expect to be using a 4" roller a lot. This will come in handy. Solid enough that it won't tip over or fold from the weight and spill paint. The magnet is a good idea. I think the paint removal slots are a waste of time - not only are they probably not that useful, but I intend to always use the liners so the slots will always be covered. Not sure if the main tray will be easily cleaned as I have not used it yet, but I prefer to always use the liners in order to keep the base in good condition. I've always used the larger trays even for the smaller brushes so am looking forward to having this make the process a little easier.

I'm in the midst of home renovations and was thrilled to find this set of paint trays. They are a great size for a brush or small roller and clean up so well. The perk for me was that I do have several colors of paint I'm using at once and this set of trays allowed me to have all colors I needed available. It was a great price and the trays are great quality. If you have home reno projects on your 2025 docket, these are a must.

Overall not a bad product. I needed this for some of my smaller DIY paint projects and this will certainly meet my needs. Just a couple of things I noted about the product. It was advertised as having rubber feet on the bottom to prevent slipping. As you can see, no rubber feet. It is also advertised as having a "strong" magnet to hold your brush. The magnet was able to hold a paper clip but not my brush. The pan itself seems pretty sturdy and it's nice that it included the six inserts. So I'm happy with the product and it should be a good buy to utilize for small jobs around the house.

Grabbed this because we have been doing a lot of painting in our new house. We have been going through a bunch of paint trays and I tried buying liners but had a hard time finding ones that fit correctly. So I was happy when I found this set that comes with a pack of liners with it. This is great because we are doing several different colors in different rooms so we would have to completely clean out the tray in between projects to not mess up the colors. But with the liners we can easily swap out the room we are working on.
