For what you pay it isn't a lot of thinner. There are probably better options.

This reducer from Mission Models is a fairly quick drying reducer that works well in all Mission Model paints and also works well with other water based acrylic paints. Also great airbrush cleaner for water based acrylic paints. Available in both 2 and 4 ounce sizes.

I'm not sure if thinning is needed as my friend told me to just spray from contents straight out of the bottle. I tried it and it worked that way. Now I don't know if I still need this thinner.

Nice paint, good deal a little pricey to get set up, but once the thinner and poly bought should be enough to do 40 models easy.
