I bought this hat for my wife who struggles with the South Texas Heat at our posse's outdoor sporting events. My wife tells me that it works great, better than advertised; plus it looks good on her. It delivered on time,was as advertised; and is made well. I recommend it for your consideration.

The fit was perfect, a bit on the flimsy side up top but performed exactly as advertised. Provides shade from the sun. I added it to my scoutmaster uniform as part of my hiking gear. I was also able to sew a patch on the front of it.

At the end of the day, anything that keeps you cooler and helps you avoid heat exhaustion or worse, sun stroke, is a major benefit. I play a lot of golf, in both hot weather and the rain, and this helps in both cases. The wide brim provides protection in both cases and it's light enough to roll up and pack without taking up a lot of space. Another benefit is that you can soak it and then wear it to assist in an even quicker cooling. I guess there's not a lot you can say about a "hat" but if you spend a lot of time outside in the warmer weather, it's one that's better to have and not need, than to need it and not have it. I did notice them on sale at Lowes the other day, but they were more expensive than they are online. You just have to wait a little longer for them to arrive. :)

Love the hat . I was a bit annoyed at first as it came in a plastic bag and was folded. However after reading the tags it is meant to “wring out” if it’s wet . You can wear just as a sun hat- the brim will adjust up- or as a hat to keep you cool by soaking with water . This feature will be very helpful when I mow . It is also vented to just wear as a sun hat . It is a little big but has an adjustment to make it tighter.. All in all I love the hat.

I spent a lot of time on beaches recently and this was great for sun protection and dried out quickly when wet. It had some salt water stains on it, but all I needed to do was rinse it out. I bit floppy but didn’t mind on the beach. The cord came in handy to keep it on in the wind while boating.

I like this hat, the color is nice and very thin fabric. Great for summer.The few things I don't like about it tends to be very flat on top.And I really like wearing it in the pool or near water, but the little bit of water on ithas now left a weird looking dark stain.I may be able to wash it out.

This hat is perfect for my hubby golfing or doing yard work. It has the cooling effect if you wet it. It allows air to flow thru, for cooling the head and its very light weight & comfortable. Keeps damaging sun rays off of his head, too. It quickly became his favorite! Easy to fold up, if desired. Roll it up, stick it in your pocket. Looks great. Great value.
