Mishimoto has developed a high-strength silicone replacement hose that provides increased pressure and heat tolerance, thanks to its 100% silicone construction. This hose features five layers of silicone with heat-resistant embedded fibers that withstand substantial boost pressure. The hose is equipped with a position indicator, making installation a breeze and possible in less than one hour. The Mishimoto Subaru WRX Silicone Throttle Body Hose is available in black, blue, and red, and it includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty, ensuring superior product quality and craftsmanship.

Reliable Quality Product - much better than the original Subaru. 99% fit to Legacy/Liberty GT Gen 5 (2009-2013) as well - I managed to install it as a replacement of blown of Subaru 11459AA461 Duct Assembly. See the comparison in the photo.

Watched the Mishimoto install video and several others. Helpful but putting this in exactly the right spot is difficult. It just is not long enough and compared to the hose I had before you can tell it is a bit shorter. I had to intentionally leave a 2mm gap on the throttle body side and clamp it as close as possible to the edge to catch the lip and not to have the clamp fall off the hose. This way I was able to just have enough room to clamp on the intercooler side. Its not leaking but not leaving me too comfortable with how it is installed. At first I thought I might have a non-genuine part but it has the dimple and everything looks correct. It just doesn't fit on purpose I guess.....

I can't believe this overpriced rubber tube solved all my problems. Comes with pipe clamps too! After I removed the inter-cooler and put it back on I could hear a boost leak squeaking though the rubber. I tried over several days to remove, adjust, tightened, double check orientation the 3 parts and this stock one was always such a pita to push back together with the tabs not bending out or in.After looking around for something more standard, there are not many options but this was one of them, and after replacing the weird injected molded plastic tube with this custom shaped but very much standard silicone hose and tightening the new included hose clamps, all my problems solved. My boost gauge actually set a new high so I've been leaking a tiny bit of boost for who knows how long!I did have to sand down the sharp seam on the bottom of my inter-cooler with a dremel so it wouldn't rub but it was no big deal.

After a few attempts to fix my '12 wrx oem hose by removing the sleeves, adjusting the clamps, and repositioning it, I finally caved and got this hose. I looked at it from day one but although inexpensive, I didn't want to pay that much for a hose.I finally got it and I guess I'm paying for the engineering for such a specific application so I'll suck it up and say I'm happy with my purchase. I've heard these used to come with T-bolt clamps but honestly idk how I would've made those fit, the clamps included seem better than stock...or maybe its just because they're new. For those that wish paper instructions with some pictures were included, like most qualify parts (or even a better install video that doesn't miss the main issue with installation), I'll save you some trouble. The indentation and writing go on the intercooler side. While the video says writing goes up and someone else mentioned writing off to the passenger side a bit, mine was more off to the drivers side.HUGE pro tip: the indentation goes on the bottom, centered. Took me two tries but with the indentation placement figured out, hopefully I'll save you some headaches.

Not only was the stock hose leaking oil, Subaru Canada wanted an arm and a leg to replace it with a stock hose. The Mishimoto hose was 1/3 the quoted price and fit like a glove. Installation took about 45 minutes. Note - be sure to have plenty of light available as the bottom clamp is nearly impossible to see because it is buried under several other hoses... Power delivery is better now, and lag has been greatly reduced (your results may differ, my stock hose was leaking and robbing my car of low RPM power).

This IS the fix for the 08-14 WRX intercooler to throttle body hose fix as the JUNK stock subaru one is a failure from the factory big time. Especially pushing more boost then stock its a must!!I'll be honest here, it was a damn struggle to get the Mishimoto one on as alot of people have said. But, there's definitely a trick to it as it has to put on exactly with the dimple inside the hose exactly on the bottom or it will not work for you. Lube up the inside lip with spit and put it on the throttle body first semi loose on the clamp, then loosly bolt the intercooler to the turbo so it stick can move a bit (don't forget grey anti seize on the bolts) then lub the inside lip of the hose on the intercooler side and muscle it into place. Then crank down both clamps. Then the bolts on the turbo.Mine seats 100% in both ends. Fit, finish and durability is 1000x better then the stock junk hose. The people here that can't get it on are doing it wrong. Follow what I said here and it WILL work for you.Or message me and I'll show you more pics of how to do it right.

[just photo update] once I filed down and don’t care about the gap, all good.As other reviewer said, should be simple install but yet it was so difficult. Logo, or dimple as reference point doesn't matter. No matter how you orient, it just wont fit nicely. I had to file the corner edge of TMIC so it won't poke the hose. (when Dimple down orientation where it fits better than other). Still gives little bit of gap but it seems that's normal (from other reviewer)...for now there is no leak so I gave up, but little too much stress on Bolts when you try to fit the TMIC. I wanted to get away from POS 3 pcs OEM hose, but OEM fitment was much easier than this. At least it looks good. (even it is hard to see)... I wanted to leave some photo, but guess not...

Super easy to install, good quality product!I've been hunting a hesitation issue in low RPM's for quite some time and after some research, it is known for our factory throttle body hoses to deteriorate overtime. After removing my intercooler and inspecting the factory hose, it is clear to see the cracks and tears that has developed over the years through heat cycling.Once installed, I didn't bother resetting my ECU and decided to let the car relearn it self. Hesitation was still there but after several days of driving, it is almost 100% gone!Just a tip, the hose is quite tough and rigid out of the box so please make sure to re-tighten your hose clamps after several days of driving as the clamps will loosen. This could be due to vibrations or the silicone hose becoming a little bit more flexible through heat cycles. I've also relocated the location of the clamp on the throttle body so I can re-tighten without removing the intercooler. A socket extension can reach between the intake manifolds to the bottom of the throttle body.

Fit was nice and tight. But had trouble realigning the intercooler on the turbo. Haven’t had any problems with the boot popping off which is what counts!

I always felt the oem coupler was slightly short. I installed a larger top mount intercooler and I was unable to get the coupler to sit properly due to its extreme rigidness. The mishimoto is slightly bigger and a lot softer which gives you a lot more wiggle room for installing. I will write another updated review after I've driven the car for a bit.UPDATE:After the install I'M REALLY HAPPY, I realized my orignal throttle body was causing a lot of issues for a long time. When coming to a stop the car would hesitate and almost stall intermittently, when going into boost, I would hear the whooshing sound a lot more than usual which was because the coupler would get loose from the throttle body causing a boost leak.I strongly recommend this to anyone running a stock or modified tune. The oem coupler is really really bad, it become extremely stiff and almost looks like it's too short.A must buy! Or at least replace it whether it's a mishimoto or not.
