These weren't overly expensive, but getting the set, they could be sold for more.Each pin was in its own little pouch and that goes a long ways in protecting them.All ready used several of them, and they add a nice classy touch yo any tie.Would not hesitate to buy again.

I have used many tie tacks over the years. Usually the problem is with the pins bending or breaking or the chain breaking. Can't say this has happened with these, so I gave it two stars. These tacks were much bigger than I had imagined. They are huge compared to the ones I have normally enjoyed. My second issue is pushing the short thick pin (post) through the tie. It took great effort to get the pin through (both cloth-style tie and silky tie). As with all tie tacks, they often leave a hole in the tie- these probably more than others. They are stylish but much too big for my taste.

At least at the time of this review, the listing price is at 17 bucks. Most of these tie-tacks are believable, and not cheap in appearance, and even if you wear ties daily, I see no reason why this set would not last you a year or more with proper care. My mate is highly satisfied with his. After I verify that he can hang on to these, we'll upgrade, but in the meantime, I think these will suit just fine.

Not ritzy looking but very functional. I doubt anyone will question where you got your tie tack. There are three gold color, three black color and three silver color tie tacks. Now you will have many options for the different color tie you are wearing and whether you are wear gold, black, or silver accessories.

They were a nice set of inexpensive tie tack with a 2-1/2 in. chain. You get 3 gold 3 silver and 3 black that coming.A nice little box and are individually wrapped.
