Precisely what they claim to be! They’re long enough to ladder my mid calf boots and they feel sturdy. I’d buy more. The color is vibrant and bright which is also nice.

Repeatedly, I was frustrated with the waxed shoelaces that came with my high-end suede chunks boots. This one is long enough of a 4-eye chukka, so be aware if you have shoes with more eyelets than 4. The braided materials are strong and gives you plenty of allowance to pull your boots tight, which is the way I like before going for an extended walk. My shoes are tan, but I ordered the gray laces and they made the leather shoes pop. You can tell the high craftsmanship just by holding and using these laces. I will likely use this brand and type to replace the laces for my other shoes and boots. I really do like them.
