BEST! shower mirror I have ever owned. I get the water hot while brushing my teeth, then fill up the reservoir with hot water and boy is it nice to have a fog free shower mirror. It is a glass mirror, so I am careful to make sure I don't hang it where it will get knocked off and break.

I've been using those coated plastic mirrors for many years and inevitably within a few month they no longer work, they get foggy even after washing with soapy water. This mirror, however, is real glass (careful!) but has an ingenious solution to avoiding fog: just fill it with hot water before your shower and no fog will form! Tip - make sure you use the hottest water you can, then you can turn the temp down for your actual shower. I also like the big hook, I just hang mine over the top of my glass enclosure and adjust it so I can see it. Perfect solution, and well made, it's going to last a long time as long as I don't drop it! And if I do I'll just buy another one. Easy!

I've used a locker mirror for the past 25ish years until I finally shattered it. I used to rub a drop of soft soap on it to defog it. I figured there had to be a better way and after extensive searching I found this mirror. It works well and as described. When you're ready to shave fill it with hot water and hang it up. It actually stood very nicely in my corner shelf also. The plastic hook in the back is large and it stays in the position you move it to as it is in a very snug ball and socket joint. That helped to hang out on an angle, it helped brace it when I stood it on my corner shelf, and when I was done I was able to hang it upside down so it could drip dry.A+ so far.

Edit: I have used the mirror now for a while and I think I was a little harsh on the hook. It is short, for sure, but it rotates more than I realized so can be oriented in almost any direction. In fact, hanging it upside down is useful to drain all the water out. I have upgraded my rating from 4 to 5 stars.I bought this mirror since it's glass and I can therefore clean it, unlike the cheap plastic ones that are more common and less expensive. It has a reservoir on the back and it's true that when you fill the reservoir with hot water, it doesn't fog. That feature works immediately, no waiting to warm up.I give 4 stars for the mounting/hanging solution. There is a hook on the back that has a nifty design that lets you rotate it 90 degrees up, left, down, or right. Sounds great, but in practice that doesn't make any sense. The mirror can only be oriented one way without the reservoir pouring out. And, the hook is short. When I hang it on the shower rod, it's too high up to use. The only place I can hang it is on the shower head. That's not ideal since I then have to look through the falling water to see my reflection. I might add a string or chain that I can adjust to hang it the correct height from the shower rod.Another thing I like that is worth mentioning: because the mirror only hangs and isn't fixed to the wall, I can take it down and put it away when there is company over.

This is the second mirror of this type that I've owned. The cup has a sticky substance on it that helps with keeping it on my standard shower stall. Warm water filled mirrors do work, but what happens when you forget to empty it? The next time you shower you empty it and cold water splashes your feet. I had one of these mirrors and it fell off the wall. (More than once) It is going to happen, you need to reset the cup every so often. Anyway the mirror frame cracked, not the mirror. I still filled the mirror but it slowly leaked out. Well the mirror did not begin to fog until after I was done shaving. If I needed more mirror time I just added more water. The result was that I never had to empty it and I saved stress on the suction cup. So on my new one I drilled 3 small holes near the base of the water well and it slowly drips out. Empty and ready to go for next time. I should add that I use a hand held shower head so filling the mirror is no big deal. I dare you to try this but it will work. Try filling your current mirror and empty it out. See how long it stays fog free!

Muy útil, lo uso en cada ducha, lo pegué el primer día y ahí sigue pegado. Muy resistente. Muy recomendable para afeitarte y dejar toda la muerda dentro de la bañera o plato de ducha.

Great suction power. Not sure what people are doing to make it fall off. I've repositioned the mirror several times and I have to pry it off once I loosen the it.5 stars for suction5 stars for ease of use3.5 stars for fun house mirror effect. Let me explain. You have to stand with your face centered about a foot away or less, or your face will distort like a circus mirror. This is apparently an issue with all these types of shatter proof shower mirrors regardless of the brand. Oxo, and several others I tried have the same exact issue. If you can be close to mirror and center your head your fine. If the depth of mirror, distance it sticks out is inconvenient then try OXO Good Grips Suction Fogless Mirror. It sticks great,, same reservoir on the back only issue it has is same fun house reflection i mentioned. The other complaint I've read is it's not fog free.Ok so if you can't read and don't follow instructions then yes you get a foggy mirror. You have to fill the reservoir in back of mirror with hot water to keep mirror from fogging up.Its not rocket science. Also you don't need to remove mirror from wall to empty water out...Rotate it until it's upside down and water pours out....Hope this helps
