Hooked it up to a power source to make sure it worked before attaching and wiring (instructions recommended) and my god be warned this thing definitely works great. Super loud, easy to attach using self tapping screws (not included) the wiring is a little thin but I solder connections like this anyhow so I’m not worried about it. Definitely worth the price for the decibles!

I needed a replacement for a backup alarm installed on my vehicle. This one was easy to install and is very loud, perfect for my needs.My Star Rating Scale:5 stars - Perfect, or as close to perfect as possible and would definitely recommend to anyone.4 stars - Works well, but could see some minor changes that could make the product better. Would recommend to others.3 stars - Functional, but areas of concern or major changes that could make the product better. Recommend researching other options. Hook this up to your reverse lights and it could save you a lot of heartache. Many companies make these alarms mandatory on their delivery vehicles especially if they deliver in residential areas. On construction sites I have never seen a vehicle that was not equipped with a back-up alarm. In high noise or wherever children play these alarms can save lives. When I was very young I was waiting to cross a busy road (No jaywalking laws where I grew up) and I was standing behind a big truck. The traffic noise was so loud that I did not know the truck was running. I was looking across the two traffic lanes when the truck backed up and crushed me against a bus. It almost severed my spine and I spent years in and out of hospitals. I was very lucky to walk again. Had the truck been equipped with a loud back-up alarm, I’m sure the accident could have been avoided and I might not be disabled today.You are not buying this alarm for you, you are buying it for the kids playing behind you.I definitely recommend this alarm.
