I bought this for my new oil painting class. Its portability/weight are both excellent and tabletop set up is a breeze! I work with smaller canvases (12x12 or so) so it's the perfect size for me.

Very sturdy and easy to open. It also holds a large canvas horizontally,12x 24. I folds up easily for quick storage.

So I bought this as I wanted an easel with a clasp at the top to hold smaller canvases. Fyi you need to make sure back leg is straight and then tighten clasp. Otherwise it can be unstable. The first pic is a 9x12 in landscape. Holds fine. The second is an 8x10 also in landscape but the clasp doesn’t go down far enough to be able to hold it in place. That said, the wood base it sits on is wide enough that I think it will hold better than my other metal easel with the bar across the bottom which wobbles. Therefore this seems more sturdy than what I am currently using. Still keeping my metal one as it’s expandable to standing position if needed. I’ll update my review after actually using it if any concerns found. Otherwise it’s assumed it fits my needs.

GREAT PRODUCT!! Better than described. Love it, it surpased expectations and description on website. GREAT value, you won't be sorry if you order. It's very sturdy as described, and very, very good quality. Not cheap or flimsy at all!!! Love it. Using it for paint by numbers hobby. Looks great, but most important does a great job in holding canvas in place. Highly recommend.

Un achat qui semblait vraiment une chance je suis déçu du prix versus ce qu'il est vraiment. Beau modèle mais lacune sur le porte tableau ... la tablette de soutient relève comme si a penture était défectueuse mais sinon c'est ok
