The harness that i recieved is different from the unlined picture. The straps that come over the shoulders are not solid orange like in the picture. Instead, they are black with a thin line or orange sewed down the middle. Also the tightening belt only tightens from one side not both like pictured in the ad. That being said, I am happy with the quality of the material seems very sturdy.

I bought this for dragging deer it works well, I bought a deer sled from sportsman guide and it made a world of difference very good product.

2 stars may be a little harsh, as this will help pull a deer out of the woods easier than just a rope, but I don't feel this unit deserves 3 stars either. While waiting for this to arrive I decided to make my own super simple harness and rope using climbing tape, rivets, a D ring and some ski rope with a fid. What I came up with was based on the shoulder strap lifting systems you see most movers using nowadays. My home made unit takes up about half the space in my pack, weights less, cost a fraction of what this did, and only took me about 15 minutes of work (once I had a plan). This harness is also a little awkward to put on, and looks way too small on me. I you do not have the ability to make something more simple than this, but you want a way to drag deer (or other things) around while keeping your hands somewhat free, this is the second best of three options I have tried (the Allen Company harness I had worked, but had to be fixed every time I tried to use it).

Bought this as a replacement to the Allen Deer Drag System. The Allen was to small in my opinion and the strapping average. I am 5'10, 240#. I wanted something with a bigger/wider strap system. This system completely did the job. The strap is nice and wide over the chest/shoulder area and allowed me full range of motion. It was much more comfortable than the Allen drag system. My first application had me pulling two deer out in a large jet sled up and down hills (in about 1" of snow with bare spots). It was surprisingly comfortable and sturdy. It's very well made imo. For my stature, I'd highly recommend this product, especially over the more economical models available.
