About the Ball Adapter
MINIFOCUS 1'' ball adapter with M6 & 1/4"-20 threaded stud is a multi-function single-ball head.
One side has a 1" ball head for 1" ball clamps. The other side has an M6 screw or 1/4"-20 screw, compatible with M6 or 1/4"-20 screw holes. Two different sizes of screws, adjusted to your needs.
It allows you to mount any accessory or product that is compatible with it where you need it.
Model of aluminum alloy material: 6061. Good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance
Manufacturing process: CNC one-piece molding, ensuring good stability and smooth hand-feeling.
304 stainless steel screws: the product is a diving accessory, so the screw material selection of stainless steel is the optimal choice, contact with seawater is not easy to rust corrosion.

Want to give 5 stars but couldn't find one that works with a FTM-350AR with GPS. This one, I replaced the bolt with a M5 bolt and it is mounted, and have it on a Ram arm ready to go in the vehicle now

I wished someone made a solid aluminum mount to use with the ball and clamp method. My last mount had a spongy type material ball which made it difficult to get a tight hold. This I thought would be better but the clamp can still rotate because the O-ring prevents it from getting a good clamp on the solid part of the ball. Overall it’s a nice mount

I have been putting together a ham radio setup in my truck, and it added some weight to what I was already using... I decided to att a couple of these as mounting points for components or stabilizers and they do work. Especially if you need "a different size bolt"... as long as it is LONG enough to go through the middle it can be 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, I'm not sure about 10mm... but 1/4", 3/8", and 5/8" work just fine, too... so don't let that hold you back... the only necessary part is the washer that would keep the bolt head from pulling down into the center of the ball. The rubber o-ring keeps things from sliding around, and it works with all kinds of "ram mount" type accessories.For those of us who like to be able to DIY things, save a few bucks over the name brand, and get something of quality... this part will help.

this is not 1/4" 20it is too big for a standard tripod port
